ArcGIS Pro 3.3 adopts .NET 8 and WebView2 runtime.

ArcGIS Pro 3.3 is a minor release set to be available this month; May 2024. It has many new features and is compatible with ArcGIS Pro 3.x versions. To be ready for this, we want to inform you about the two primary installation prerequisites: .NET 8 and WebView2 Runtime. We can recall that ArcGIS Pro 3.2 ran on Microsoft .NET Desktop Runtime 6.0.5 or a later patch release. If Microsoft .NET Desktop Runtime 8.0.x (x64) is not installed on your machine, you will not be able to install ArcGIS Pro 3.3.

Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime is a required component for ArcGIS Pro 3.3 to display HTML and JavaScript content in the application user interface. You can easily check to see if you already have it and, if needed, install it using the steps that will be outlined in this blog.
