Business Development Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team. The role would require the individual to assume the responsibility of helping Sambus Geospatial obtain better brand recognition and financial growth. The duty includes identifying new business opportunities to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow. The ideal candidate should have the following skills:

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement BD strategy for the company
  • Positioning in the appropriate markets
  • Lead the generation of sales leads, research, and identify new business
    opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships,
    products, and services – or new ways of reaching existing markets
  • Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients
  • Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with
    a plan of how to meet these
  • Draft client contracts and ensure the terms and suitable for the company and
    client
  • Liaise with appropriate teams to deliver BD mandate
  • Attend seminars, conferences, and events where appropriate to seek business
    opportunities
  • Market and promote the organizational brand
  • Recruit, train and manage the performance of team members
  • Write and submit periodic reports
  • Perform any other job-related roles assigned

Requirements

  •  Minimum Bachelor’s/master’s degree and a professional/technical qualification in this area of expertise.
  •  Minimum 2 years experience in IT, Geospatial/SaaS/GIS or related industries.
  • Experience in high-level business development, negotiations, and managing client relationships management.
