What’s New in the ArcGIS StoryMaps Briefings App (April 2024)

Create presentations called briefings from the ArcGIS StoryMaps builder and quickly consolidate critical information into shareable slides. Take your presentations with you and share briefings natively with the ArcGIS StoryMaps Briefings app to present dynamic maps and scenes to your stakeholders anywhere, anytime, even offline. Next time you need to present, provide your audience with the meaningful context of your interactive ArcGIS items, embedded content, and multimedia with briefings.

What’s New in the Briefings App

The ArcGIS StoryMaps Briefings native app has been updated. Access the latest enhancements in the app on an Android or iOS tablet or a Windows computer or tablet.

In the ArcGIS StoryMaps builder, you can now add an image gallery to slides in briefings. Easily share your image gallery on the go when you view your slides in the Briefings native app. When presenting, simply tap on an image in the gallery to expand it to full screen. If you’ve configured a link on an image, clicking the image will open the link in the default browser on your device.

Navigate the app faster with the improved interface

The native app interface has been improved with consistent messages displayed when you add or remove briefings from your favorites and download briefings. The updated messages can help you get a clearer understanding of the briefings you have downloaded and favorited, making it easier and faster to navigate the app.
