What’s new in ArcGIS Online (March 2022)
Drive meaning into events around you by using data-driven styles and analytical tools in ArcGIS Online (AGOL) to create interactive maps. AGOL is a complete, cloud-based solution. It serves as a complement or an extension to the capabilities of ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise. The March 2022 update on ArcGIS Online includes new enhancements and capabilities highlighted below.
Map Viewer in ArcGIS Online
The latest functionalities include improved Map Viewer features. Administrators and users are encouraged to configure the new Map Viewer as their primary map viewer. This helps to take advantage of the new capabilities and enhancements that comes with every update. The primary map viewer is configured by the administrator in the Map section of the organization settings.
The 2022 Map Viewer has is updated with new capabilities and features in the following areas;
- Flow style
- Duplicate layers
- Group layers
- Time options
- Search results
- Keyboard shortcuts
Scene Viewer in ArcGIS Online
A voxel scene layer represents multidimensional volumetric 3D or 4D data in Scene Viewer and ArcGIS Pro. Use voxel layers to access and explore volumetric data about the world and better understand conditions that you can’t physically experience. You can now add voxel scene layers to local scenes in Scene Viewer.
ArcGIS Instant Apps
Instant Apps allow users to build Web Apps more quickly and easily. The 2022 ArcGIS Instant Apps has is updated with new capabilities and features in the following areas;
- Interface Updates
- Chart Viewer
- Sidebar Content
- Nearby/ Zone Lookup feature
- 3D Viewer
- Attachment Viewer
ArcGIS Dashboards enable users to convey information by presenting location-based analytics using intuitive and interactive data visualizations. Dashboards are used to help make decisions, visualize trends, monitor status in real time, and inform their communities. With the March 2022 update, ArcGIS Dashboards includes several new capabilities and enhancements. For your information, the ArcGIS Dashboards Classic would be retiring by September 2022.
ArcGIS Experience Builder
Utilize ArcGIS Experience Builder to construct cutting-edge map centric or non-map centric internet apps and webpages with out writing any code. Engage your target target market with compelling internet reports on any display size. Enjoy completely dynamic format alternatives to construct any internet revel in for any purpose. Two new widgets are now available in ArcGIS Experience Builder.
